The following face slimming massages are designed by Japanese beauty expert Tanaka Yukuko. They can tighten the facial contour, reduce wrinkles and highlight a sharper chin.

Warm-up Lymph Massage

Step 1: First, place your index fingers, middle fingers and ring fingers near your temples.

Step 2: Press down harder with your index fingers, middle fingers and ring fingers and slowly move them downwards from the front of your ears to the neck and then to the collarbone. Repeat this 3 times.

Step 3: Place the soft area at the base of your thumbs between the nose and the cheekbones. In one go, press upwards and down on the cheekbones. Take note to use the same amount of force in both hands.

Step 4: Without taking away your hands, and keeping the same amount of pressure in your hands, slide your hands sideward below the cheekbones. Once your hands are at the side of your ears, reduce the pressure in your hands. Step 5 to 6 chase off sagging skin at the sides of the mouth and eliminates dangling wrinkles.

Step 5: Place your hands at the sides of your mouth, forming the shape of a trumpet. Press down hard using the soft area at the base of your thumbs.

Step 6: Press on your facial muscles upwards to the side and towards your temples. When your hands reaches the ears, reduce the pressure in your hands. Similarly, slide your hands via the neck to the collarbone. Repeat steps 1 to 3 for 3 times.

Step 7: Place the base of your thumb on the pointed part of the chin firmly with the palms of your hand facing upwards.

Step 8: Slide your hand until the base of your hand reaches the rear of your ear and stop. Do the same action alternating between each hand. Then slide both your hands from the front of your ears to the collarbone. Repeat steps 1 to 3 for 3 times. Do each hand separately.

Step 9: Place your thumbs at the middle of the lower jaw with the rest of the fingers closed together and surrounding the nose, as if you are shouting.

Step 10: Return your fingers to your temples and massage from the side of your ears to the collarbone. Every massaging action ends in this way.
