Home remedies for eye creams can deliver soothing agents and much-needed moisture to the skin, which can help fight and minimize the signs of aging. A few recipes and ingredients to consider include the following suggestions:

Apply the mixture to under your eyes and leave on for 20 minutes. This recipe will also increase the flow of blood to this region and help to diminish fine lines.

b) Honey, Sour Cream and Lemon Juice [1]:

Combine one teaspoon of sour cream, one teaspoon of honey, and ½ teaspoon of lemon juice to create an eye cream with properties to lighten under the eyes. Apply the cream to under the eyes and leave on for 20 minutes. Use warm water to rinse off the remedy, and then pat dry with a washcloth.

c) Blueberries and Lemon Juice:

The antioxidants found in blueberries can make an eye treatment that promotes a more youthful appearance. Add four tablespoons of blueberries and ½ cup of lemon juice to a blender. Mix and then apply to your skin using a cotton ball. Leave on for 15 to 30 minutes, and then wash off using warm water.

d) Cocoa Butter:

To make a healing, youthful cream for the eyes – add three tablespoons of warm cocoa butter, the oil from two vitamin E capsules, and the gel from one aloe vera leaf to a glass bowl. Combine all of the ingredients, and then put in the refrigerator for one hour. The cream will harden in the cold. Gently dab the cream around the eye area.

e) Potato:

Combine two teaspoons of a raw potato (grated) and one teaspoon of warmed petroleum jelly to create a cream for the eyes. Place the remedy in a clean container, and store in the refrigerator for one hour. Apply to the eye region using a dabbing motion, which will help reduce swelling under the eyes.

Relax for about five minutes, and then clean your face with warm water. The potatoes possess a natural bleaching effect that can treat dark circles under the eyes.

f) Milk:

To reduce puffy eyes, dip two cotton balls in milk and place them under your eyes. Leave the treatment on your face until the milk starts to warm. Repeat the process, adding more milk the next time. A few applications should have reduced the appearance of puffy eyes.

Add finely chopped parsley to the sour cream, and place half of the mixture into the middle of a square of cheesecloth. Create little pillows that are placed on each of your eyes. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes.

h) Almonds, Rosemary and Egg White:

To make an eye tightening cream, make a quick infusion by placing one small sprig of rosemary leaf into a bowl and pouring boiling water over it. Cover the contents and leave it to cool. The mixture is then dabbed under the eyes and left on for 15 minutes before rinsing off with warm water.
